 | North Fork Audubon Society encourages children of all ages to connect with nature. We offer children’s programs on the second Saturday of every month, at 11:00 AM. Our programs consist of seasonally related, age appropriate, educational material, experiential learning, and hands-on outdoor activities or nature walks. Children are encouraged to participate in volunteer activities such as supervised trail and beach clean ups. We introduce them to the concept of citizen science by helping them participate in nationally recognized projects such as The Great Backyard Bird Count and Project Feeder Watch.
